    What will you be doing?

    • Act as a strategic People Business Partner to leaders, shaping and delivering people solutions that drive performance, growth and delivery.
    • Leverage relationships across the wider People function to bring the right expertise at the right time, ensuring joined-up, high-quality delivery. Work with Centres of Excellence to design and implement scalable people solutions.
    • Use people data to influence decisions and challenge thinking.
    • Build strong relationships, coaching and guiding leaders to improve performance.
    • Lead change and drive engagement through targeted actions and accountability.
    • Ensure governance, consistency and best practice across a multi-site environment.
    • Stay close to operations to deliver practical, relevant solutions.

    What you’ll bring

    • Proven strategic HR/People BP experience in large, complex, operational environments
    • Strong strategic thinking; prioritises high-impact people initiatives
    • Experienced working with Centres of Excellence to deliver joined-up solutions
    • Builds credibility quickly; influences senior stakeholders
    • Data-driven and commercially focused; turns insight into action
    • Self-starter; proactive and outcome-focused
    • Experience in change management, ER, and multi-site environments
    • Clear communicator; simplifies complexity and drives results
    • CIPD Level 5 minimum (or equivalent experience); CIPD Level 7 desirable.
    • Experience in matrix organisations and partnership with multiple specialist HR functions.
    • Experience supporting safety-critical or highly regulated environments (e.g. rail, aviation, infrastructure).
