What will you be doing?
- Act as a strategic People Business Partner to leaders, shaping and delivering people solutions that drive performance, growth and delivery.
- Leverage relationships across the wider People function to bring the right expertise at the right time, ensuring joined-up, high-quality delivery. Work with Centres of Excellence to design and implement scalable people solutions.
- Use people data to influence decisions and challenge thinking.
- Build strong relationships, coaching and guiding leaders to improve performance.
- Lead change and drive engagement through targeted actions and accountability.
- Ensure governance, consistency and best practice across a multi-site environment.
- Stay close to operations to deliver practical, relevant solutions.
What you’ll bring
- Proven strategic HR/People BP experience in large, complex, operational environments
- Strong strategic thinking; prioritises high-impact people initiatives
- Experienced working with Centres of Excellence to deliver joined-up solutions
- Builds credibility quickly; influences senior stakeholders
- Data-driven and commercially focused; turns insight into action
- Self-starter; proactive and outcome-focused
- Experience in change management, ER, and multi-site environments
- Clear communicator; simplifies complexity and drives results
- CIPD Level 5 minimum (or equivalent experience); CIPD Level 7 desirable.
- Experience in matrix organisations and partnership with multiple specialist HR functions.
- Experience supporting safety-critical or highly regulated environments (e.g. rail, aviation, infrastructure).
