Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom
networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.
We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private
and mobile operators.
Private networks- We find the best technology, manage assets
and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running
smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep
everything in top shape.

We welcome UK-wide applications. Your contract will be tied
to a local M Group office, with occasional travel to Warwick for meetings.
What will you be doing?

You’ll manage a number of concurrent projects/sites,
owning them from initiation to customer operations.
·
You’ll be working under strict governance
controlled environments and handling sensitive technical documentation
·
You’ll lead weekly internal and external calls,
attend face-to-face meetings as needed, and provide regular reports.
·
Projects will be tracked using MS Project and.
You’ll identify and manage risks, issues, actions, and dependencies throughout
the lifecycle. You’ll handle cost tracking, budgeting, and forecasting,
ensuring clarity on charges and revenues.

You’ll report time spent against sold effort and
conduct Gate Control Checks to uphold quality standards, ensuring all
communications and project activities are effectively managed.

You’ll be managing a team and will be
responsible for their performance and delivery ensuring a consistent high
standard of deliver across multiple regions and stakeholders.

You’ll need to ensure your team are compliant their
deliverables
·
You’ll need to be able to manage both junior and
senior stakeholders professionally and lead meetings where they attend.
·
You will need to think strategically to ensure long
term goals are considered whilst managing the day to day.
This is a hybrid role with occasional visit required to both
our clients National Grid’s office in Warrick and our office in Coventry and Site
Substations where required.
What you’ll bring?
- You’ll
join with proven track record and a proactive approach to managing end to
end projects
- You’ll
have experience of budget control
- We’ll
need you to have excellent presentation and formal communicational skills
- Will
be skilled and experienced in the Microsoft Office suite and familiar with
MS Project
- Familiarisation
to National Grid or other national infrastructure is preferential, this is
a highly governed project
- Must
be able to manage stakeholders both internally and externally
- Experience
of working in medium to long term technical programmes
