    You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.  

    We are now recruiting for a Depot Administrator based in Hook. 

    The depot administrator’s role is to support and facilitate the delivery of work from our Highways Maintenance Depots.  The activities below are not exhaustive; flexibility is key.  Administrators should expect to work in their nominated depot full time although occasional WFH is allowed with agreement and flexible working should be discussed with the hiring manager.

    What will you be doing?

      • Ensuring Operative job packs contain current C2s
      • Liaison with third parties to manage 'in the zone requests'.
      • NUAR stat creation as required
      • Creation of manual orders ensuring pre start traffic management requirements are fulfilled. 
      • Keeping a record of temporary traffic management on the network ensuring collection is completed in a timely fashion
      • Managing the depot diary and closing down manual orders.
      • Advise Scheduling & Permitting team if permit extensions required or if permits can be closed.
      • Causeway housekeeping as required, eg. moving work leader, transferring from Stores to Scheduler, closing down jobs, adding notes.
      • Running reports for depot supervisors and managers to support day to day operations
      • Emergency call taking according to rota – ensuring handovers are completed promptly and effectively. 
      • Creating job packs for subcontractors and storing on SharePoint
      • Supporting subcontractor delivered work streams by planning pre start traffic management requirements.
      • Providing initial feedback for 3rd party claims and HCC general enquiries. 
      • Provide cover for other depot administrators and functions including timesheets, and job costing data.
      • Other office administrator functions including keeping notice boards up to date, assisting in meetings etc.
