Where will you be working?
This role sits within our Finance Shared Services team, a central function that supports the wider business by delivering efficient, accurate, and compliant financial operations. Working as part of a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you’ll play a key role in ensuring seamless banking and finance processes that underpin our day-to-day operations.
Please Note: This role operates core hours of Monday to Thursday, 8:30am–5:00pm and Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm, with a 1-hour lunch break each day, and follows a hybrid pattern of 5 consecutive days in the office followed by 5 days working from home, with flexibility required at month end to support key financial deadlines.
What will you be doing?
The Banking Senior will support the organisation’s banking administration, reporting to the Cash & Receivables Manager within the Finance Shared Service Centre. The role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments and receipts, alongside maintaining strong controls, reconciliations, and compliance.
You’ll oversee day-to-day banking activities, review payment files, monitor reconciliations, and investigate discrepancies, working closely with internal teams and banking partners to resolve issues and drive improvements.
This is a fast-paced, detail-focused role where you’ll also contribute to financial reporting, support audits, maintain banking systems, and analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency.
What you’ll bring
- Working towards or qualified in a formal accountancy qualification
- Oracle Fusion / ERP experience (desirable)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced transactional environment
- Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups
- High attention to detail with a strong analytical mindset
- Motivated to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
