We are seeking an experienced Transformation Director to lead the delivery of strategic, high-impact change across our Water Division. Reporting to the Divisional Strategy Director, you will play a pivotal role in a major group-wide transformation programme, helping shape a future-ready business that is more proactive, intelligent and sustainable.
Combining strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, you will oversee complex transformation initiatives, ensuring change is effectively governed, delivered and embedded across the Division. Working closely with senior leaders, programme sponsors and governance forums, you will align transformation activity with business priorities, manage interdependencies and drive measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver large-scale transformation and business change programmes across the Water Division.
- Drive adoption, engagement and sustainable embedding of change initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with group-wide transformation teams to ensure alignment and delivery.
- Provide strategic advice and challenge to senior stakeholders and governance boards.
- Identify risks, opportunities and dependencies across transformation activities.
- Build high-performing teams and promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement and customer focus.
- Translate strategic objectives into practical action and tangible business outcomes.
About You
You will be an experienced senior leader with a proven track record of delivering complex transformation programmes in large, regulated organisations.
- Director-level leadership experience with strong board-level stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in change management and transformation delivery methodologies.
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial awareness and financial acumen.
- The ability to influence, engage and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Experience navigating complex, fast-paced environments and managing competing priorities.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a focus on delivering measurable results.
- Experience within water, utilities, telecoms, transport or similar regulated sectors would be advantageous.
