    At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.

    We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.

    This role will be within our EV team. We’re working hard to make safe, quality, sustainable EV projects a reality. Our teams install charging stations, ensuring they are accessible and reliable, and ingrate them into the energy network.

    This role is based from our Bootle office, with some flexibility to work from home 1 day a week.

    What will you be doing?

    As a Project Coordinator, you’ll assist in the co-ordination of design, site planning, pre-construction activities, sub-contractor interfaces and commissioning activities ensuring a consistent approach to the delivery of the works on time, to cost and quality. You’ll liaise with multiple disciplines – design and technical, operations, commercial, SHEQ, IDNOs and Suppliers and Subcontractors.

    • Working within the Net Zero EV business unit delivering EV charging projects, coordinate execution of projects for the company on behalf Clients
    • Monitoring project progress and creating project status reports for management team and stakeholders
    • Building and maintaining relationships: building strong relationships with customers. This involves regular communication, understanding their needs and goals, and addressing any concerns or escalations.
    • Assisting with coordinating resource plans so that team members know when tasks must be completed and they can ensure they have the resources they need to complete their tasks
    • Preparation and Management of Contract Programmes through the Design and Build phases of all projects
    • Coordinate project programme development with Contract Managers and Construction Managers, and ensure timely submission of programme updates to the client
    • Assist the Contract Manager with project completion / handover documentation, including Health and Safety File information, and Inspection Test Plans
    • Facilitating communication between the Contract Manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle
    • Execute project management administrative tasks, prepare and manage project management documents
    • Monitor and improve contract delivery processes and procedural documentation as required.
    • Support project managers and team members to help them complete project tasks
    • Forecasting and reporting: forecasting contract performance and reporting on service delivery internally to senior management and externally in line with customer contract governance requirements.

    What you’ll bring

    • Previous experience in a similar role is essential, ideally with related industry experience
    • Project management – must be able to manage complex projects, including developing project plans, tracking progress, and managing resources
    • Resilience and perseverance – must be able to think creatively to solve issues and resolve complexities in this fast-moving sector
    • Teamwork – be able to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other areas of the MGroup Energy Division to deliver objectives
    • Communication Skills – to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with clients, team members, and other stakeholders
    • Relationship Building – listening to customer needs, being responsive to their concerns, and providing exceptional service
    • A good knowledge of IT skills, Microsoft Office products and database platforms and excellent Excel skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills & attention to detail
    • Project Management qualification would be an advantage
