    At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.

    We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.

    Private networks- We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 national operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network or service management repair and maintenance to keep everything running operationally.

    We’re looking for a Performance Manager to join our team based at our St Ives, Cambridgeshire office. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving operational performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and helping teams deliver great outcomes for customers. Working closely with managers and colleagues across the business, you’ll use data, insight and collaboration to improve efficiency, enhance service delivery and support a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and high performance.

     

    What will you be doing? 

    You'll play a key role in monitoring and improving operational performance across the business. Using data, insights and performance metrics, you'll identify trends, risks and opportunities, helping teams understand where they are performing well and where improvements can be made. You'll produce clear reporting and analysis that supports informed decision-making and drives better outcomes for customers and the wider business.

    Working closely with managers and stakeholders, you'll help identify the root causes of performance challenges and develop practical solutions that deliver measurable results. You'll support the implementation of improvement initiatives, ensuring actions are focused, effective and aligned to business objectives. By providing expert performance insight, you'll help teams achieve targets, improve productivity and consistently deliver high-quality service.

    You'll also contribute to operational planning by providing performance forecasts, trend analysis and recommendations that support both short and long-term decision-making. Through regular engagement with teams and leaders, you'll encourage a culture of accountability, helping colleagues understand how their performance contributes to wider business success.

You'll monitor the impact of improvement activity, ensuring benefits are embedded and sustained, while communicating progress, successes and areas of focus clearly to stakeholders across the organisation.

    You'll help foster a culture where data is used confidently, performance is openly discussed and teams feel empowered to make positive changes that improve customer experience, operational effectiveness and overall business performance.

     

    What you’ll bring

    • Experience in a performance, operational improvement, business analysis or similar role.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into clear actions and recommendations.
    • Experience using performance metrics, KPIs and reporting tools to monitor and improve operational outcomes.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively where needed.
    • The ability to identify trends, solve problems and make evidence-based decisions.
    • A proactive mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering measurable results.
    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience influencing colleagues and managers to drive positive behavioural and operational change.
    • Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy when working with data and reporting.
    • The ability to work independently while building effective partnerships across teams and functions.
    • A collaborative approach, combined with the resilience and determination to see initiatives through to completion.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and confidence working with reporting and performance systems.
