Where you’ll be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our clean water Repair and Maintenance team, reporting to the project manager Our teams deliver small to large repairs on the Yorkshire Water network aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What you'll be doing?
You’ll oversee live sites, liaising with local Highways Inspectors and building strong client relationships. Working closely with the planning team, you’ll check compliance, conduct regular site audits, and ensure health & safety standards are maintained.
You’ll provide real-time feedback from site visits, manage teams to deliver on each task, and ensure all sites progress smoothly from start to finish. You’ll also work collaboratively with task teams to resolve any issues and support project delivery, including participation in standby working to ensure uninterrupted service.
What you’ll bring?
- Have you gained experience in the water industry and know how to manage direct labour and subcontractor teams?
- Are you comfortable using MS Office and other IT systems?
- Do you have project and programme management skills, along with essential Water SHEA or CSCS certification?
- Are you qualified in NRSWA supervision or SMSTS, with deep excavation training?
- Do you hold a full, current driving licence?
