What will you be doing?
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out excavation, reinstatement, concreting and drainage works in line with project requirements.
- Assist with installation of ducting, chambers, foundations and associated civil infrastructure.
- Operate hand tools and small plant safely and effectively.
- Read and work from site drawings, permits and method statements.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Support traffic management and site set-up activities.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, tidy and safe at all times.
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience in a civils, utilities or construction environment.
- Valid CSCS card (essential).
- NRSWA Street Works accreditation desirable.
- Good understanding of safe digging practices and site safety requirements.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Reliable, hardworking approach with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
