    Where will you be working?

    We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.  We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

    This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

    What will you be doing?  

    • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions.
    • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
    • Measure quantities and develop detailed pricing schedules.
    • Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
    • Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions.
    • Support bid submissions and collaborate with operational and commercial teams.
    • This is a hybrid role. 

    What you'll bring

    • Experience in estimating within water, construction, infrastructure, or related sectors (utilities) (Quantity Surveyor).
    • Strong numerical, analytical, and commercial awareness skills.
    • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
    • Good knowledge of estimating software and Microsoft Office.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Relevant construction qualification or equivalent industry experience.
