Where will you be working?
At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK.

You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. What will you be doing?
You'll be working with the Quantity Surveyors and supporting them with the day-to-day role.
You'll be compiling estimates, agreeing sub-contract applications, preparation and submission of client billing and identifying contract variations.
We'll ask you to support with cost and value reconciliations on complete works and works in progress.
You'll support with compiling quotations for new work and keeping appropriate records and schedules in all activities when processing invoices, compiling invoices and updating spreadsheets
Reporting of monthly figures to senior management and monitoring project costs and feeding back cost value information to the site team.
Implement commercial processes to ensure contractual entitlement is realised.
You'll work within strict deadlines required under the contract and required by the company. Assisting in the collection of data/facts with respect of all variations to the works in conjunction with other teams.
What you’ll bring
HNC or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or relevant construction related discipline would be ideal but not necessary
Experience within highways maintenance preferred
Good numeracy skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and confident
Commercial/Financially acumen
Capacity to meet tight deadlines
Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office in particular Excel
