This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.

What will you be doing?
Our Compliance Business unit are looking for a Delivery Manager to head up the growth across all of our teams, developing with current, new clients and business opportunities to build on an already established stream of works, focusing across the Southern, London and East Anglia regions. Working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure current contracts are meeting the correct requirements including SHEQ, supporting with recruitment along with maximising revenue and profit through an effective deployment of labour, man management skills and development of the team.
As a Delivery Manager, you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence, business growth and team performance across our Compliance Business Unit. You'll be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of contracts and services, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
You'll build and nurture strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and support new business development through tender and bid submissions. Working closely with customers and stakeholders, you'll ensure service delivery consistently meets expectations and contractual obligations.
Leading and developing a high-performing team, you'll oversee training, performance reviews and day-to-day people management activities, creating a positive culture that promotes engagement, wellbeing and staff retention. You'll also act as the primary technical point of contact for engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
You'll take ownership of site-specific procedures, including the preparation and approval of RAMS, work plans, permits and audits, ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality requirements. This will include supporting accident investigations and driving corrective actions to continuously improve safety performance.
Managing contract finances and operational performance, you'll monitor budgets, KPIs and work-in-progress recovery, producing regular performance and financial reports for management. You'll also oversee labour planning, supplier relationships, material procurement, surveys and quotations to support the smooth running of daily framework operations.
Working alongside the Operations Manager, you'll contribute to project planning, reporting and wider business objectives, using IT systems and performance data to track progress and ensure client commitments are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You'll champion robust quality assurance processes across all projects, helping to drive continuous improvement and operational success.
What you’ll bring
- Do you have previous experience in electrical installations, testing and inspection within hazardous area (DSEAR) environments? This would be advantageous.
- Have you got proven experience in a managerial role?
- Do you have previous experience within the Water and Energy sectors?
- Have you got strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others?
- Do you have excellent project management abilities, with a track record of successful project completion?
- Can you demonstrate commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols?
- Do you have strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment?
- Do you have the flexibility to travel to project sites and work outside regular business hours, if required?
