Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

What will you be doing?
As a Site Manager, you'll lead and inspire a team of Supervisors and Plumbers across Thames Valley, ensuring the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of operational activities. You'll maintain a visible presence across the region, fostering a positive, can-do culture where teams feel supported, engaged, and empowered to perform at their best.
You'll take ownership of operational budgets, ensuring expenditure is effectively managed while delivering against profitability targets. A key part of the role will be driving an accountable zero-accident safety culture, placing health, safety, and wellbeing at the heart of everything you do.
You'll coach, mentor, and develop your teams to improve productivity, performance, and operational efficiency, creating opportunities for continuous improvement. Through regular team engagement, you'll encourage innovation, curiosity, and new ways of working, helping to deliver excellent outcomes for customers, colleagues, and the business.
What you’ll bring
- Do you have a Plumbing background? This is desirable.
- Are you computer literate with good knowledge or Word, Excel and PowerPoint?
- Do you hold a UK driving licence?
- Have you got experience in managing geographically spread teams effectively?
- Do you have strong written and oral English?
- Have you got good budget management skills?
- Do you have the ability to travel around the region as required, being present in area during operational hours?
- Are you a strong team player?
- Do you have Operational Leadership experience?
- Are you someone who has had experience in coaching and performance management?
