Where will you be working?
At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK.

You’ll be joining our street lighting team! As a major supplier of specialist highway electrical services, our streetlighting teams maintain and design over 350,000 street lighting assets.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll work on reinstatement of surfaces, excavation for equipment, and Installation of street lighting electrical equipment, private cable networks and feeder pillars, and report any defects
You’ll complete and sign off jobs using PDA’s/Tablets, and making sure works are completed in accordance with Health & Safety requirements.
Are you tidy & organised? You’ll have daily vehicle checks to make sure vehicles are kept clean & tidy!
Are you a friendly and approachable person? You’ll make sure members of the public are kept informed of works and are not put in danger!
What you’ll bring:
- G39 & MEWP category 1b is desirable but not essential
- G39 - Desirable
- You’ll need NRSWA Unit 1-8 or equivalent
- Are you experienced in Operation of Crane? This is essential for this role
- Do you have your HGV Class 2 Licence? This is essential for this role
- If you don’t have Manual Handling and first aid at work we can provide the training
- ECS Test and Part 1 / Level 2 Electrical Qualification is desirable but not essential
