Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
As our Operational Support Driver & Jet Wash Operative, you’ll be driving the team towards success.
You'll be part of our repair & maintenance team who are responsible for the upkeep of Yorkshire Water's distribution network and you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance projects.
You’ll be responsible for the efficient completion of maintenance tasks on the Yorkshire Water repair & maintenance contract in Sheffield.
We'll need you to record daily vehicle checks & report any defects along with completing mandatory health & safety site specific risk assessments.
You'll install and dismantle traffic management set ups in accordance with the code of practice and deliver and collect fittings / materials to and from site when required. This will also include towing a jet wash to and from site so that when dismantling and clearing sites you'll need to be able to use a jet wash to ensure sites are left clean and free from debris.
We'll also require you to deliver and collect chapter 8 equipment from site when required including final clean down of the site.
You'll be a crucial member of the team, and you would relish the opportunity to contribute to the success of our projects. Your remit would include overseeing the transportation of materials and equipment to and from the work sites.
This role is essential to the smooth operation of our repair and maintenance activities.
What you’ll bring
- Do you hold a valid UK driving license with B+E entitlement?
- Do you hold a NRASWA operative Street Works qualification minimum SLG Unit 2 & EUSR Water Hygiene ticket?
- Have you got good knowledge of the red book?
