Where will you be working?
As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.
This role is in our Marketing Communications department, our Marketing Communications team creates and shares key content and materials to inform and engage both existing and new clients, as well as keeping our people informed about what’s happening across our Group.

What will you be doing?
This Communications Coordinator role will work together with the wider Marketing and Communications team to provide day-to-day support for all aspects of IT communications across our Group, planning in and writing original, engaging clear, concise and people-focused content for a diverse range of channels, aligned to our brand narrative, tone of voice and style.
Working with a dedicated Corporate Communications Business Partner to support the communications of our IT function at a pivotal time, this role is expected to create and produce purposeful and future-focused content for internal and external audiences to agreed timescales, follow set approvals processes and collaborate with stakeholders to keep them updated on progress. You will have excellent communication and writing skills that engage audiences
What you’ll bring
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to write powerful, purposeful and persuasive copy for a variety of sectors and audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to measure and evaluate the purpose and effectiveness of content and campaigns.
- Ability to research and simplify complex information into clear, engaging and relevant copy.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Awareness of the significance of brand identity and writing style, maintaining high standards.
- Strong planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
- A good team player with the ability to balance conflicting priorities.
