We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. This role will join BGEN - one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions

What you'll be doing?
You'll lead project delivery with a steady focus on meeting scope, cost, quality, and schedule goals. Keep programmes, forecasts, and reports up to date while staying closely connected with clients as their main point of contact.
You'll guide engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors, ensuring all work meets standards and safety expectations. Identify risks and opportunities early and put practical plans in place.
You'll share clear progress updates, manage changes smoothly, and encourage open, collaborative working with clients and partners.
Also drive continuous improvement through feedback and lessons learned.
What you'll bring?
• Do you have clear communication skills, thoughtful negotiation ability, and strong stakeholder engagement?
• Do you have strong, supportive leadership and confident project management experience?
• Do you have good commercial awareness and an understanding of project finances?
• Do you have the ability to manage several projects at once?
• Do you have skills in MS Project, Excel, and key project management tools?
• Do you have knowledge of electrical, control, and utility infrastructure work?
• Do you have a project management qualification such as APM, PRINCE2, or similar?
• Do you have an HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering?
• Do you have a CSCS/ECS card and SMSTS/SSSTS (preferred)?
• Do you have a full UK driving licence?
• Do you have proven experience in electrical, control, or utilities projects?
