Right across infrastructure, there’s a requirement to not only maintain, but also renew and reimagine. Whatever stage you’re at in your career; with us you’ll have an opportunity to grow and develop. Delivering essential infrastructure services for life, while being safety first, and client and customer centric in a friendly, fun and respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive.

    Where will you be working?

At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.

You’ll be working within mobile networks where we keep the country connected through the survey, design, installation and maintenance of private 5G networks, small cells, supporting Smart Cities & Connected infrastructure.

Want to come and be a part of it?

We're looking for a detail-oriented HOP Technician to join our growing delivery team. Ideally, you'll be based within a commutable distance of our Diseworth office to support collaboration and team meetings; however, we welcome applications from candidates across the UK, provided you're willing and able to attend meetings and other business requirements as needed.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and quality-checking Hand Over Packs (HOPs), ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete and submitted right first time. Working closely with Build, Delivery and Project teams, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of telecoms projects, maintaining project trackers, monitoring critical milestones and ensuring client requirements are met. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with telecoms delivery experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.

    What You'll Be Doing

As a HOP Technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of telecoms projects by ensuring all Hand Over Packs (HOPs) are completed accurately, on time and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with Build, Delivery and Project teams, you'll prepare, review and manage HOP documentation, ensuring all required information is complete and ready for client submission. You'll maintain project trackers and databases, monitor key milestones and SLAs, produce regular progress and performance reports, and keep internal systems updated with project statuses and dependencies. You'll also provide administrative support across the delivery function, including assisting with RAMS, REC power ordering and reporting activities, while proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and help keep projects moving efficiently from completion through to client acceptance.

    What You'll Bring

    • Previous experience in a HOP, project coordination, project support or telecoms delivery role.
    • Experience working with telecoms operators, vendors, site providers or within a telecommunications delivery environment.
    • Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
    • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and MS Project.
    • Experience maintaining trackers, databases and project reporting tools.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with colleagues, clients and senior stakeholders.
    • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Experience working within process-driven environments and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Technical knowledge of telecoms infrastructure, site delivery and Hand Over Pack processes would be advantageous.

    What’s in it for you?
