You’ll be working within mobile networks where we keep the country connected through the survey, design, installation and maintenance of private 5G networks, small cells, supporting Smart Cities & Connected infrastructure.

We're excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Build Manager to join our growing Mobile Telecoms team. Ideally, you'll be based near West Byfleet or Diseworth, giving you easy access to the offices you'll support. What You'll Be Doing
As a Build Manager, you'll be accountable for the planning and end-to-end delivery of cell site installations and upgrades across our client's mobile network. We'll look to you to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with an assigned Quantity Surveyor, you'll manage costs, monitor commercial performance, and ensure projects are delivered in line with profitability expectations. You'll also take ownership of client relationships throughout the project lifecycle, from build kick-off through to successful operational handover.
You'll be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering mobile telecoms site build and upgrade projects.
- Ensuring quality, compliance, and Health & Safety standards are consistently achieved.
- Managing project costs and supporting commercial performance.
- Leading site teams and subcontractors to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and helping us enhance the way we deliver projects.
What You'll Bring
You'll need a full UK driving licence and a strong background in construction site management, ideally within the telecommunications sector. We'll be looking for someone with hands-on experience delivering telecoms infrastructure projects and a solid understanding of the challenges and opportunities involved in mobile network deployment.
You'll be confident leading and developing people, capable of building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment. We'll also expect you to have a strong understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards on every project.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Proven experience managing telecoms construction or mobile network build projects from inception through to completion.
- Strong commercial awareness, including experience within Mobile Wireless ADC environments.
- The ability to lead, coach, and motivate field-based teams.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
- A customer-focused approach and strong stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, positive mindset and a willingness to embrace change.
A qualification in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline would be advantageous, and membership of a relevant professional institution would be a bonus.
