    Where will you be working?

    At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.

    We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.

    This role will be within our Metering team. You’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.   

    Our meter readers install, maintain and manage meters to make sure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored.  

    What will you be doing?
     
    We are seeking a motivated and talented Graduate Data Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a passion for the energy sector, data analysis, and artificial intelligence. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our One Field Metering operations, analysing data, and exploring AI-driven solutions to enhance our services. You will support across a number of business areas identifying synergies and continuously improving data quality and solutions for our teams and Suppliers.
     
    The Operations Centre team is at the forefront of supporting our customers in resolving Data issues and providing insight on other issues that prevent us being able to capture a meter reading. This has significant value to both our business and our customers.
     
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Data Analysis: Analyse data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Utilise statistical tools and software to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
    • AI Implementation: Develop and implement AI-driven solutions for optimising processes and improving data accuracy.
    • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on data analysis findings. Communicate results to stakeholders and provide recommendations for operational improvements.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, field and customer service, to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions and data analysis into daily operations.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the energy sector. Propose innovative ideas to enhance our services and efficiency.
     
    What you’ll bring
    • Minimum 2:2 degree (any STEM subject considered)
    • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools
    • Basic understanding of AI
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Great with technology (MS Office proficiency required)
