Whilst the Head Office for this role is in Ipswich, you must be flexible to travel with this role across sites.

What will you be doing?
We are seeking an Environmental Advisor with site-based experience to join our expanding team of environmental specialists.
You will work collaboratively with design, construction, & operational teams to enable the delivery of essential infrastructure services across the UK.
You will provide a broad range of desk- and site-based consultancy services across a growing portfolio of exciting contracts. Whilst adding to the development of new service offerings.
Your role will drive compliance whilst proactively identifying opportunities for improvements relating to decarbonisation, biodiversity net gain, and resource efficiency.
Expect to take technical ownership of a diverse range of environmental requirements, leveraging the support of other experts in the team to manage complex projects. Whilst engaging various stakeholders and statutory regulators.
What you’ll bring
- You'll demonstrate experience in a similar role with a proven track record of effectively assisting clients with environmental risks and opportunities.
- Sound knowledge of UK environmental legislation and guidance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and the expectations of design & operational teams through effective communication.
- Valid UK driving license and prepared to work from office locations regularly, travel across the UK to client offices / sites. Stay away from home for short periods.
- Chartered (or pursuing chartership) with a relevant professional industry body.
- Demonstrable site-based experience on infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to collaborate with clients, planning authorities, regulators, and stakeholders.
- Skills in desk research, data handling, report writing, and project management (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
