You’ll be joining our Highways team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?
- Manage and process orders to, and applications from, approved subcontractors, liaising with their commercial and finance teams.
- Administer and process supply‑chain requisitions and Task Orders, ensuring accurate records and timely execution.
- Process payments by reviewing and auditing supply‑chain applications for validity, required certification, and compliance with pay‑less procedures.
- Review subcontractor applications and allocate costs to the correct orders and cost centres.
- Liaise with Commercial and Operations personnel to ensure final accounts are prepared and closed on schedule.
- Coordinate with Commercial and Client teams to ensure timely submission and resolution of payment applications.
- Undertake other administrative duties as required to support supply‑chain and commercial functions.
What you’ll bring
- Excellent computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Accurate and efficient data‑entry skills with the ability to quickly identify and correct errors.
- Methodical, quality‑focused approach with a ‘right‑first‑time’ mindset to close out tasks under pressure.
- Able to manage and prioritise own workload effectively.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and work demands.
