    Where you’ll be working?

    We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.  We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

    This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

    What you'll be doing?

    You’ll be bringing experience in streetworks or utilities, using the Street Manager system, applying strong knowledge of streetworks and traffic‑management requirements, and drawing on your background in planning, scheduling, problem‑solving, and investigation while working confidently with Microsoft Office and communicating clearly in both written and verbal formats.

    You’ll be building effective relationships with third parties and stakeholders, managing complex enquiries with specialist knowledge, using your familiarity with Line Search and utility packs, and working independently with strong prioritisation skills and commercial awareness.

    What you'll bring?
    • Have you got proven experience as an Environmental Advisor in a construction environment, ideally within utilities?
    • Do you have a recognised environmental qualification, preferably degree‑level, and professional IEMA membership (or equivalent)
    • Have you got experience supporting environmental surveys, design mitigation, and coordinating environmental and ecological specialists?
    • Do you have the self‑motivation, teamwork, negotiation skills, and confidence to present, work independently, prioritise workloads, and travel when required?
    • Do you have strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to collate data and produce accurate reports?
    • Do you have a valid UK driving licence and the willingness to obtain a CSCS card, EUSR, and National Water Hygiene qualifications (training provided)?
