    BGEN is one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the Water, Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear and Food and Beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions. 
     
    What you'll be doing?
     
    What you'll be doing:
     
    You will work with C#, Java and JavaScript, using frameworks such as StartSharp and Serenity to build helpful digital solutions.
     
    You will design and manage MSSQL and MySQL databases, keeping them efficient and dependable.
     
    You will develop and maintain APIs that support and connect our systems.
     
    You will contribute to Digital Transformation projects and enjoy being part of positive change.
     
    You will follow best practice and clear standards to make sure your work is consistent, thoughtful and high‑quality.

     

    What you'll bring:

    C# and web basics — Basic understanding with C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS and JavaScript

    Database understanding —
    Working with MSSQL/MySQL, writing queries and shaping simple schemas

    Framework awareness —
    Exploring .NET and gaining familiarity with platforms like Serenity or StartSharp

    Problem‑solving skills —
    Debugging issues, asking questions and learning from senior developers

    Teamwork and communication —
    Sharing progress, collaborating well and supporting client‑focused tasks
