    Where will you be working?

    We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.  We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

    This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.

    What will you be doing? 

    You'll handle the delivery of solutions to complete all projects on time and to budget and quality in a safe and efficient manner.

    You'll delegate the daily workloads of operational teams and individual team members both on site and in Bentley Wood Way.

    We'll need you to act as a bridge/voice between that of the operational work force and the senior management team.

    You'll liaise closely with Project Managers to aid in job package costing when necessary.

    Due to the nature of the role you'll also conduct toolbox talks, discuss potential hazards, near misses, dangerous occurrences to improve safety within the teams and wider company.

    We'll need you to actively contribute to meetings/discussions around training, personnel, development, promotions, safety concerns, commercial concerns/opportunities.
     
    You'll be required to compile reports, technical drawings and detailed information collection of site observations and further working requirements.
     
    What you’ll bring
    • Do you have excellent communication skills required with the ability to quickly develop and build rapport with customers and colleagues?
    • Are you someone who has strong attention to detail and the ability to always maintain accurate records and documentation?
    • Do you have previous leadership experience with a proven track record of leading, supervising, motivating, developing successful engineering teams?
