    Where will you be working?

    We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.  We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

    This role will be within our This role is within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

    What will you be doing?

    You'll provide first-line technical support to users via telephone, remote access, and on-site visits, resolving a wide range of hardware, software, and systems-related issues as well as configure, deploy, and maintain mobile devices and associated applications, ensuring users have access to the tools required to perform their roles effectively.
     
    We'll need you to deliver engaging training sessions and one-to-one coaching on mobile devices, applications, and business systems and create, modify, and manage user accounts, including access permissions, password resets, and system access requests.
     
    You'll investigate, diagnose, and resolve system issues in collaboration with the IT Contract Support Team, clearly communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical users.
     
    You'll maintain accurate records of incidents, requests, and resolutions, ensuring all issues are tracked and managed in line with agreed service levels and produce and maintain user guides, training materials, process documentation, and briefing notes to support system changes and new technology deployments.
     
    We'll need you to assist with the rollout and implementation of new technologies, applications, and business processes, supporting user adoption and continuous improvement initiatives along with acting as a trusted point of contact for field-based users, promoting best practice and ensuring a positive user experience across all supported systems.
     
    You'll identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement, helping to enhance system performance, user knowledge, and operational efficiency.

    What you’ll bring

    • Do you have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions?
    • Have you got strong IT literacy and confidence working with a variety of business systems, software applications, and mobile technologies?
    • Do you have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook?
    • Have you got sound understanding of Android operating systems and mobile device configuration and support?
    • Are you methodical and organised approach, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy?
    • Do you have the ability to effectively prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment?
    • Do you have a proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and use initiative when resolving issues?
    • Have you got excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organisation?
    • Do you have confidence to be able to deliver training and explaining technical concepts to users with varying levels of technical knowledge?
    • Have you got a strong customer-focused approach, with a passion for helping users and delivering a high-quality support experience?
